Thank you for sharing your story, Janet! I especially love that the sponsoring church made sure you became part of their family. That's so important when we are sharing the gospel--to disciple those who come to Jesus. Prayers for your siblings to accept Jesus.

I got saved at neighborhood Bible time. Even though I grew up in an unsaved home, my parents were always willing to send us to church or church related things. When neighborhood Bible time arrived, it was just one street over from my house, so we could walk there. After singing songs and hearing stories about what Jesus did for me, I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior! Now I needed to grow in faith. This organization was sponsored by the church in the next town so they sent a church bus to come pick us up each week. I continued at that church through my high school year and college years. This is the church where I met my husband of 39yrs! We would move to another town a short distance away and attend a sister church and start raising our family there.
I have three siblings who attended church with me for some of those years. All three are unsaved and I pray that they will come to know the Lord some day too. We all heard the same gospel and all had the same chance to choose Christ. We pray for them....
