I would watch him shuffle with his walker across the street to pick up the mail and think, “This was my big strong daddy that lifted me high in the air, or ran alongside me as I tried my two wheeler for the first time. It IS hard to watch, and yet now, at 68 I know that more of my life is over than I have to come, and, while I love my children and grandchildren, there are times when I find my heart longing for “home”. With the “time of life” God gives the grace.
