It’s something I’ve observed in my pastor-brother’s life the last few months. He has given his congregation a glimpse into the struggles he and his family face as his wife’s health continues to deteriorate. Though it has brought him to tears during his sermons, it has also allowed us to see the strength and power of God at work.

Such an encouragement! I am feeling weak today because my youngest grandson is having spinal surgery today, half way across the country. My heart aches because I want to be there for him and his parents. But lil Samuel and his parents don’t need my strength.They need the Lord’s strength to get them through this next hurdle! Just like He got them through the last two hurdles of heart surgery. Yes, when we are weak, He is strong!
