You’re right—even when we are surrounded by a loving family and friends, we can still feel lonely. I believe part of that is a longing for Heaven, a knowing that this life isn’t all there is for us. Praise the Lord that one day we will live in perfect joy, in His presence forever! 🙂

Even as a mom of two and wife with a wonderful husband, there are times I find myself lonely. I usually pray and ask the Lord to help me because for me, a lot of the times, it’s my hormones or something else making me feel a bit irrational because I know I am beyond blessed. As you mentioned, it’s good to think of those who are lonelier than us and there are many, sadly. Thanks, Kimberly, for sharing your heart and what the Lord has taught you!
