Yes—after we have done our part in seeking restoration, we must leave it in God’s hands. He will give peace even in the midst of unresolved situations when we turn them over to Him. It’s not easy, but we can rest in the fact we are loved and forgiven and held by Him! Thanks for sharing, Becky.

A little over a year ago, something took place between me and a member of my extended family. We both had words and said things that we shouldn’t have. Immediately afterwards, I was strongly convicted and asked the Lord to forgive me. I approached the family member with a sincere apology from my heart yet still to this day I continue being completely shut out of this person’s life. After I knew that the Lord had forgiven me I felt a calming release from my burden. I realize now that I have done my part. If the other person continues to ignore me, it’s out my hands. I know that I have already done what God wanted me to do for I don’t answer for what she does or anyone else, for that matter. I must answer only for myself. May God bless you, Kimberly, for you are always a blessing to me. 🙏🏼
