Thank you for sharing this story! Some days it seems that we just can't take another step, but He gives the strength we need. (And yes, I'd say your homeschooling paid off! Your kids & grandkids are pretty awesome!)

Yes I was there and now I am being blessed by my children and I know that the Lord gave me the strength through all those difficult times and He walked me through them as He will you so keep putting one foot in front of the other and press on for there is a light at the end of this journey and it is Jesus if you know him as your personal savior

This is so true! When I was working 8hr night shifts at the hospital and homeschooling two teenagers I didn't know if I was going to make it some weeks. My husband was working in his machine shop at home and homeschooling the kids also. One day I came home from work in the morning and had to give the kids a Spanish quiz. I would say a word in English and they would write it in Spanish. There were ten words in the quiz and I had apparently fell asleep sitting straight up on the last word! My son said, "Mom we need number 10." I jerked awake and looked at my paper and thought they were pulling a fast one. "We are on number 8", I said, that's the last one I remembered any way. No, he was right. He told me to tell them number ten and go to bed. I felt so bad that I was so tired I couldn't even finish giving a quiz to my kids. My husband was a huge help during this time but he said he didn't do Spanish. :) Several years later after starting college, my son called to say "that homeschooling paid off, I just aced my English test!" The Lord gets us through with His strength, not ours.I am so thankful for that!
